Social media is increasingly used as a health information resource. In particular, TikTok's popularity has ballooned in recent years, but can we trust the medical information delivered in this space? We reviewed the first 100 video results for Overactive Bladder and found that misinformation was present in 40%. Videos with misinformation were also shared and duplicated more often.

Providers should be aware of the medical information and MI promoted on popular social media platforms such as TikTok when counseling patients with OAB.
