Designation Statements

Physician CME

AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine designates this other activity (live and recorded video) for a maximum of 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 28 Medical Knowledge MOC points and patient safety credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.


CMD Credit Hours

This live activity has been pre-approved by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) for up to 25 management hours and up to 16.25 clinical hours toward certification or recertification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity.

AAFP

The AAFP has reviewed PALTC23 AMDA's Annual Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 22.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 03/09/2023 to 03/12/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Nursing Contact Hours

To earn nursing contact hours, participants must complete 100% of a session and complete the session and overall conference evaluations within 30 business days. On-Demand Sessions (recordings) are available from February 28 - March 12, 2023 (11:59pm ET). Contact Hours will expire on March 12, 2023.

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.


NAB (Administrator)
