Hannah Fudin currently serves as the clinical pharmacist for the transgender and women’s health primary care teams at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center. She continues to work as an adjunct assistant clinical faculty of pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah, college of pharmacy. Dr. Fudin completed her doctorate in pharmacy at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY. She then went on to complete two pharmacy residency programs and a teaching certificate. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency a PGY2 specializing in ambulatory care pharmacy. Dr. Fudin obtained a position at University of Utah College of Pharmacy as an assistant clinic professor of pharmacotherapy where she participated in teaching, scholarship, service and clinical practice for three years. She taught introduction courses as well as pharmacotherapy for pain management for pharmacy and physician assistant students. One year prior to starting her position at the VA, she worked for Biodelivery Sciences International as a medical science liaison for buprenorphine buccal film and naldemedine.
In October 2019, Dr. Fudin started her position at George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center. She serves women and transgender Veterans with a multitude of complex chronic conditions through direct patient care, working alongside multiple primary care providers and various specialties. Dr. Fudin has published multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed articles in pain management. She continues work in academia as an adjunct professor mentoring PharmD students and residents both on their clinical rotations and on multiple clinical research projects.
