While clinical productivity is often used as a benchmark of success, it is the ability to pause at key moments that has been shown to improve decision making and efficiency while reducing work errors and burnout. This presentation will provide attendees: o The research supporting increased use of pause techniques during the work day (and why most clinicians often do not find time to pause) o Three brief techniques that can be incorporated to improve work efficiency and satisfaction o An opportunity to determine key areas where pause techniques can be most impactful for reducing risk areas that may promote rushing, errors or burnout.
