Five Instructors from different parts of the country share their experiences implementing MHFA on college campuses. Whether you're connected to a two-year or four-year institution, you’ll benefit from our panelists’ hands-on experiences of the positives and challenges encountered implementing trainings and building systems to support MHFA within the diverse communities of higher education. We will discuss program implementation, key take-aways and strategies when teaching to these communities and how to provide ongoing support and mentorship in higher education. There will be time dedicated to answering your questions.

Learning Objectives:

Identify various successful strategies to implement and structurally embed MHFA into different university and college systems.
Equip MHFA Instructors with tools and strategies to navigate common facilitation challenges of engaging faculty, staff, students and administrators in higher education settings.
Explore unique ways to strengthen your campus MHFA program by mentoring Instructors and/or on-going support for First Aiders within your campus community.
Examine and select targeted audiences, college champions and community stakeholders to recruit for becoming First Aiders and/or MHFA Instructor for your campus.
