TP25 - Data Science: A Positive Disruptor Force in Behavioral Health

Behavioral health facilities collect a vast amount of data on clients, outcomes and processes. However, they have lagged other industries in their use of data due to lack of budget and expertise. Leveraging data science will lead to better outcomes for clients and the knowledge gained can help other entities and regulatory bodies serve patients better and reduce costs simultaneously. We will explore our use data science as a disruptor by presenting data regarding treatment model effectiveness to encourage other organizations to invest in using data science to provide the highest quality of effective and efficient treatment services.
