Amy Priest, LISW, LCDC III Director of Programs and Services at The Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County.
Amy was hired as the Manager of Recovery Services at the MHRSB in 2013 and transitioned to the Manager of Treatment Services in 2015. In 2017, Amy was promoted to the Director of Programs and Services, her current role. Amy currently oversees a team of five Staff. Before joining the MHRSB in July 2013, Mrs. Priest worked for the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities and TASC of Northwest Ohio. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's in Social Work from Eastern Michigan. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III in the State of Ohio. Amy became an Instructor for Mental Health First Aid in October 2013. In October 2018, Amy received the Healing Communities Re-Entry Champion Award from the Center of Hope. She completed the Institute for Leadership & Advocacy through the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce in March 2019. In November 2020, Amy was named the National Association of Social Work Region 1 Social Worker of the Year.
