Dr. Kelly Firesheets is a member of The Police Treatment and Community Collaborative's (PTACC) Executive Leadership Committee, as well as the Chair of PTACC's Research Committee. An evaluator by training, Kelly has spent the past decade supporting community-facing, data-informed solutions to the opioid crisis. She has been engaged in PTACC and the field of deflection since 2015, when she began evaluating Ohio's early Quick Response Team efforts. She provides leadership and support for PTACC's fundraising efforts, and helps lead PTACC's State Leaders in Deflection (SLED) Network - a learning network for states that are building and supporting statewide deflection activities. In addition to her role at PTACC, Kelly is the VP of Community Strategy and Partnership for Cordata Community, where she is responsible for providing content expertise, guidance and support to deflection programs and researchers. Kelly holds a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with a certificate in organizational concepts and management from Xavier University.
