Ryan began his EMS career in 2007. Ryan was an EMT for American Medical Response in Colorado Springs, CO, from 2009-2012. Ryan received his associate's degree in paramedicine and was promoted to paramedic at AMR from 2012-2020. In 2016 Ryan began his paramedic career at Ute Pass Regional Health Service District (UPRAD). In 2019 Ryan saw a need in his community that was not being met by being on an ambulance. Ryan became a board-certified community paramedic and transitioned into that role. Currently, Ryan is the community paramedic captain and is responsible for the daily operations of the community paramedic division, which consists of a five-person team. Ryan was born and raised in Southern California. Ryan is happily married and has two amazing children. Ryan enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Ryan is an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
