Lorenza brings to her work with organizations and leaders 17 years of experience as HR executive, organization development consultant and executive coach. She has deep expertise in strategic HR consulting,organization design, change management, leadership development, and end-to-end talent management. Lorenza brings her clients professional experience working with Fortune 500 companies including Credit Suisse First Boston and
The Walt Disney Company, as well as middle market companies, non-profits,and government. Lorenza has spent most of her career building and
transforming HR organizations.
After her long tenure in the private sector, Lorenza felt it was time to return “home” to her original studies in Sociology and pursue something closer to her heart. She is now focused on utilizing her experience and skills to serve mission based organizations. She receives much joy and fulfillment when she is able to help leaders apply some corporate processes and discipline to making non-profits even stronger. Lorenza also understands that you can’t simply impose solutions used at multinational, for-profit corporations;therefore, she crafts practical solutions to overcome nonprofits' challenges
and bolster the client organizations' strengths. Some of the areas of nonprofits that she has worked with include: child advocacy, health services,
homelessness, and volunteer management organizations.
She prides herself on her ability to form collaborative partnerships with internal clients, to plan and implement key HR-OD initiatives, and to always
understand the organization first. She brings strong personal and executive level skills to her clients, gleaned from diverse experiences as an internal HR leader and as an external consultant.
Lorenza also speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Italian and has traveled and lived in Italy, South America, France, Canada, Mexico, and China.
Lorenza has specific experience with instruments including DISC, FIRO-B, Thomas-Kilman Conflict instrument and is certified in the Hay Group 360
coaching instrument. She also has a strong facilitation background in Appreciative Inquiry and The World Café.
Lorenza received her Master’s degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and her Professional Designation in Human Resource
Management from UCLA. She completed her undergraduate studies in Sociology and Business Administration from University of California Los
Angeles (UCLA).
