Jennifer Cox, MA, NT , Serves as the Manager, National Trainer Network and Quality. She provides oversight and supervision of the certified MHFA National Trainer (NT) consultant pool across all curricula and products. As an integral part of the Client Experience team, she is focused on delivering exceptional adult learning experiences, quality and outcomes, and is responsible for ensuring NTs maintain fidelity to the MHFA curricula, model best practices in adult learning techniques, and remain current on all program innovations and fulfillment procedures. Jennifer was the Lead National Trainer for the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) at Work program, has been a Community MHFA Instructor since 2013, a contract National Instructor for MHFA at Work since 2014, and a community MHFA National Trainer since 2018. Prior to joining the National Council full-time Ms. Cox was the Sr. Training Director for the Montgomery County Alcohol Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board in Dayton, Ohio, Director of Training for Eastway Corporation, INC., a Special Populations Instructor for the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) and co-lead for the State of Ohio’s First Responder Wellbeing Council, and a Creative Arts Therapist. Jen’s professional career has focused on building awareness and literacy on health and mental wellbeing across a variety of audiences and environments, and includes experience in education, law enforcement/corrections, community behavioral health, adult & youth services, county & state government, and corporate wellness.Jennifer earned her dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s Degree from Columbia College Chicago.
