Laura Evans is the Director of National and State Policy within Vibrant Emotional Health, a nonprofit organization that reaches over 4 million people each year to help them achieve emotional well-being through high quality, innovative programs including the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Under her leadership, the Lifeline has expanded its public policy footprint across states, territories, and federal government to improve access to crisis services, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen the crisis continuum. Laura is proud to have begun her career in the Ohio Legislature.
