Casey Rudzinski, Ph.D. is a Certified Interscholastic Coach (CIC), Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA), and SafeSport Certified professional with over a decade of experience in a variety of athletics and education roles. In the recent past, he has served as Athletics Steering Committee Chair for the Florida Independent Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) 2021 Convention and Community Ambassador for Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee. Moreover, Rudzinski has appeared as a Guest Speaker on the Educational AD Podcast, as a Panelist on the Education Committee for Temple University School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (STHM) Minority Alumni Coalition (MAC), and on a webinar titled Mental Health & Wellness During the Covid-19 Era: How Adults Can Best Help Youth Adjust & Succeed During This Time with (Florida based non-profit) Spread Your Sunshine
In 2018, he contributed as a co-author for the American Psychology Association (APA) Division 47: Society for Sport, Exercise, & Performance Psychology - SportPsych Works: [Vol. 6] Sport and Social Justice Through a Socio-Cultural Lens, [Issue 1] Fostering Resilience Through Athletics. During this time as high school sports coach and educator, Rudzinski served as a County Delegate for the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) as well as a State Delegate for the National Education Association (NEA).
In addition to a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education from Northcentral University (California), Rudzinski has a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Mount St. Mary’s University (Maryland) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University (Philadelphia). He has been a mental health and wellness advocate for sport coaches and student-athletes since 2010.
