MP27 - The Power of Collaboration: Making Strides in Impacting Opioid Use Disorder from the Medicaid Managed Care Lens

Amerigroup has developed data drive clinical programming within our health plan that is demonstrating success in assisting individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD)-related needs and within our Population Health programming, OUD strategy is a priority area with an whole health, interdepartmental focus. There are a myriad of tools that are contributing to the success of this work (utilization and data sharing, preferred provider network, ensuring quality providers via an auditing process, state agency and community collaboration, physical health and behavioral health collaboration, emergency department collaboration, etc.).
