This study examined the experiences of 217 mental health professionals who provided mental health services in New York State during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, this study examined the correlations between professional quality of life, which include compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue, and perceived effectiveness providing services and perceptions of client mental health outcomes during the pandemic. This study presents significant findings with regard to the experiences of mental health professionals. This session is ideal for mental health professionals and leaders in behavioral health who were impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
