Explore potential approaches to pay for the peer recovery workforce, including opportunities to leverage Medicaid, SAMHSA block grants, targeted opioid response grants and opioid settlement funds. We will also address hiring policies that present barriers for people with opioid use disorder, assuring equitable access to the training and certification processes, assessing state variation in certification and reimbursement and creating recovery friendly workplaces.
