Christen Lara is the Health IT Division Director for Colorado's Behavioral Health Administration and holds a bachelor's degree in economics and anthropology from Colorado College. She has been an integral part of the administration since it's launch in July 2022; within the administrate, Christen oversees a digital product portfolio focused on optimizing how people, providers and adminstration partners navigate Colorado's behavioral health system of care. Prior to joining the administration, Christen spent over a decade leading public health technology innovation at Colorado's Department of Public Health and Environment.
