Dr. Eleanor Castillo Sumi, Ph.D., is the senior vice president of strategy, innovation and growth at Pacific Clinics. She develops new programs, partnerships and strategies, including the agency's digital transformation, to serve community needs.
Prior, Dr. Castillo Sumi served as vice president of research and program development. Before her tenure at the agency, she held various roles, including clinical director at The May Institute Pediatric Speciality Center, executive director at California Community Opportunities and best practice specialist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department for the State of Hawaii. Dr, Castillo Sumi has taught in adjunct and assistant faculty positions at various universities.
A licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavioral Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D), Dr. Castillo Sumi is a published author and has spoken at multiple national state, and local conferences. Castillo Sumi is a member of the Research and Evaluation Subcommittee for California's Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission.
Dr. Castillo Sumi graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University.
