Dr. Ghada Khan currently serves as the Executive Director of American Muslim Health Professionals and has nearly 15 years of experience as a public health leader, researcher, and Professor with special expertise in Community Based Participatory Approaches, Collective Impact, Women’s Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Dr. Khan holds a Doctor of in Public Health degree from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and received her Master of Public Health degree from George Mason University
Throughout her career and within her personal capacity, Dr. Khan has been dedicated to the empowerment of vulnerable populations and communities, and addressing health inequity. In recognition of her work, Dr. Khan has received the Global Woman Award from the Global Women’s PEACE Foundation, the Women’s Rights and Gender Equality Award from the Global Women’s Institute, The Nashman Prize for Community Engaged Participatory Research, as well as the Global Health Award and Public Health Service Award from George Mason University.
