Kerry Renner, PhD is a 2008 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Since September 2009, Dr. Renner has worked for VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS; Cleveland VAMC) as a PTSD and Trauma specialist, most recently as the Clinical Program Coordinator for the Homeless & Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Center in the Integrated Residential Treatment Program. Dr. Renner operates from a Cognitive-Behavioral and Interpersonal theoretical orientation, emphasizing shared decision-making in treatment planning and utilization of evidence-based practices. In 2021, Kerry was dual-certified as an Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and worked closely with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2022 piloting updated materials for the Military, Veterans and their Families curriculum. Through these pilot courses, Dr. Renner provided trainings with subject matter expertise for hundreds of Army National Guard Soldiers and VA employees.
