Candace Alba-Marshall, Project Support Coorindator I, Mental Health First Aid Missouri/MIMH/UMSL
Candace was raised in Long Beach, California, the eldest of three girls. She moved to Rolla, Missouri at the end of 2003 and worked in Student Life at Missouri Science and Tecnology for several years before transferring to Mental Health First Aid Missouri at the University of Missouri St. Louis. She has been employed with Mental Health First Aid Missouri as a coordinator for the last nine years and became an Adult MHFA Instructor in August 2021. While she feels lucky to have worked in various jobs that she greatly enjoyed, from background investigator to student support at S&T, she is more excited and proud of to work with Mental Health First Aid providing life changing and saving training. "We are making this world a brighter place!"
