Mary Abrams is the Senior Health Policy Analyst at the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) where she has worked since 2013. She works regularly with state and federal elected officials, and their staff, on policy that affects individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Previously, Ms. Abrams was the Executive Director of the New York State Coalition for Children’s Mental Health, and prior to that the Grants and Public Policy Coordinator for a large provider of children’s services in Albany, New York. Her broad policy experience includes working with several other diverse advocacy, state and legislative entities in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Abrams earned her Master’s in Public Policy from Rockefeller College, S.U.N.Y. Albany and her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Hofstra University.
