Jim Workman is the Deputy Chief Information Officer of WestCare Foundation, Inc. Mr. Workman joined the organization in July 2022 and is responsible for leading the Information Security and IT Service Delivery divisions of the Information Technology Department.
Mr. Workman has spent over 25 years in a variety of roles as a successful technology leader in the higher education, financial services, consulting (small business/higher education), and chamber of commerce/economic development industries. Prior to joining WestCare, Mr. Workman was the Corporate Information Security Officer (CISO), leading the information security, physical security, business continuity, 3rd party risk management, and data analysis teams for a $4 billion regional bank serving Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Mr. Workman also served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a private university located in Eastern Kentucky.
Mr. Workman resides in Dandridge, Tennessee and is an active member of H-ISAC and ISACA. Mr. Workman has served on several boards and councils throughout professional information technology associations over the years. Mr. Workman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Technology from Marshall University and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Morehead State University.
