Beth Owens is the Vice President of I/DD Policy at IARF and has worked in the field of Developmental Disability services fro more than 20 years. She began her carrer in the field as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Beth's background includes experiece working in every area of the service system in Illinois from direct support to program leadership, residential to day services and program development to conflict free case management. She has a vested interest in assisting with the development and improvement of services for indviduals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Beth Owens joined IARF in August of 2019. IARF is Illinois leading association of community-based providers serving children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and serious mental illnesses. Since its incorporation, IARF has been the voice of human service organizations in government. IARF's purpose is clear, "To assist in the development and improvement of services in Illinois."
