Marsha has a proven history of leading change management efforts as well as coaching and mentoring others to lead change. As a member of the innovation team at the Urban Health Institute (UHI) at Cooper Health System, she brought her expertise to the redesign of ambulatory care services for the Medicare and Medicaid populations. While at UHI, she led an initiative focused on improving employee engagement that resulted in taking UHI from the lowest performing to the second highest performing institute in employee engagement across the health system.
While at the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, Marsha developed RELATE, a nationally taught supervision model designed to support the resilience and competencies of interprofessional teams working in the field of complex care. In her role as Chief Learning Officer, she served as a thought partner for the development of the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs and led national technical assistance and educational programs aimed at improving care for individuals with complex health and social needs.
Marsha earned a Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. In her free time, she gardens, cheers for Philadelphia sports teams, and serves as a chauffeur for her teenage daughters.
