Jenny Copeland, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist with Ozark Center in Joplin, Missouri, where she helped to develop and now leads the Reconnect Eating Disorders treatment team - the first eating disorder program to develop in a community mental health setting in the United States. She is an active member of the Missouri Eating Disorders Council, where she helped develop a statewide curriculum to support the development of new treatment teams in Missouri. Dr. Copeland has conducted studies on weight stigma among healthcare providers and developed programming rooted in weight inclusive frameworks to address its impact on everyday life. Her work has earned awards including the Research and Evaluation Fellowship at The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute and the inaugural Health At Every Size Scholar Award from the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance.
