MacKenzie Koester-Smith, MPH is a Research and Evaluation Program Manager at Weitzman Institute where she primarily focuses on the evaluation of Project ECHO programs. She is a Kansas native and an alumni of the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she obtained her Master of Public Health degree. Previously, MacKenzie served as a Research Assistant and Coordinator at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Center for Physical Activity and Weight Management, and at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She has primarily worked in evaluation research, implementation science, and physical activity research with special populations.
