Brenda Kneeland, LCPC, LAC, Chief Executive Officer at Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center
Brenda oversees an agency tasked with providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services to adults and children in seventeen Eastern Montana counties. With a frontier service area of 48,000 sq. miles, roughly the size of Mississippi, this service area can provide a number of challenges when it comes to quality provision of behavioral health services.
Brenda Kneeland brings twenty-eight years of senior management experience in behavioral health and private industry. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addictions Counselor and a Mental Health Professional Person in the state of Montana. Prior to her employment as the CEO at EMCMHC in 2017, Brenda spent nine years overseeing clinical staff and mental health and substance abuse treatment services for the Montana Department of Corrections at Pine Hills Correctional Facility. In addition to her affiliation with a number of national and state professional organizations, Brenda donates time to volunteer for child literacy and food security in Eastern Montana.
Brenda lives in Miles City, MT with her husband of thirty two years, Aaron. They are parents to two adult sons and a grumble of pugs.
