Lori Vadakin, MA, LADC, LCMHC is the Clinical Director of United Counseling Service in Bennington, Vermont. Ms. Vadakin oversees the Outpatient, Community Rehabiliataion and Substance Use Disorder Programs. Ms. Vadakin is a certified (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Psychotherapist and consultant; EMDRIA; Trauma International Association. Ms Vadakin had advanced trainings that include EMDR-Sandtray Specialist, EMDR Child Specialist, Equilateral (EMDR-equine assisted psychotherpy). Ms Vadakin created a children slide presentation illustratining Stephen Porges work on the Polyvagal Theory. Ms. Vadakin is certififed in (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Greg Kersten's O.K. Corral Series on Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning. Ms. Vadakin graduated from Antioch New England Graduate School in 1998 and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1987. Ms. Vadakin was one of the first 50 clinicians in the state of Vermont to be trained by Dr. Margaret Blaustein and Kristine Kinniburgh in ARC (Attachment, Regulation and Competency).
