As the Development Director for WestCare Foundation, Andrew Moran is responsible for facilitating fundraising efforts and cultivating donor relations across WestCare’s regions. Mr. Moran is actively working with WestCare Nevada’s Women’s and Children’s Campus to raise funds for their new campus. In collaboration with the Chief Development Officer, Mr. Moran’s efforts have led to total Phase One funding in constructing the new Women’s and Children’s Campus. He organizes activities and events cultivating community relationships, expanding WestCare Nevada’s web of influence across the greater Las Vegas area. Mr. Moran is actively part of WestCare Nevada’s Community Action Council, representing the Development team amongst community supporters.
Before joining WestCare in 2020, Mr. Moran greatly succeeded in the hospitality industry. A successful business owner, he owned and operated an ice cream shop for over six years. At this point in his career, Mr. Moran was already passionate about the nonprofit industry, as he often collaborated with local nonprofits to raise awareness. One of his first professional ventures was working as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist, where we walked alongside adolescents and young adults to pursue stability, growth, and success.
Mr. Moran’s civic engagement includes involvement with Canine Compassions for Independence, the Salvation Army, Women and Children’s Alliance, and WestCare.
A graduate of Boise State University, Mr. Moran holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
