Sachika Singh, MA, is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Mayerson Center for Safe & Healthy Children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) and coordinator of the Trauma-Informed Educator Training Series (TIETS). She supports the research and evaluation behind Mayerson Center’s evidence-based initiatives to reduce the impact of ACEs in Cincinnati. In 2021, Sachika led a pilot of the TIETS training across three school districts and, since 2022, has enrolled over 1,500 educators in the online training.
While earning her Masters in Sociology and working for an organization serving Burmese migrants in Thailand (Social Action for Children and Women), Sachika was first introduced to preventing childhood trauma by building community resilience. She later consulted with international grassroots organizations in community health equity and anti-oppression at GlobeMed. Now, Sachika also spearheads sexual assault prevention efforts for a community of over 1,000 collegiate dancers as Desi Dance Network Inc.’s Chief People Officer (CPO).
