What are the provider’s potential roles in affordable housing and housing support services for people with mental illness and substance use disorders? Learn about the current landscape of housing policy for people with mental illness and substance use disorders, models of housing that are being developed and the types of services people need to succeed in housing. Find out about funding opportunities, approaches and key partnerships to develop.

Learning Objectives:

Understand current best practices and policy approaches to housing for people with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Understand potential roles and responsibilities in providing affordable housing for people with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Develop an understanding of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Olmstead and its role in shaping housing models for people with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Participants will develop an understanding of potential funding opportunities for affordable housing and housing support services for persons with mental illness and substance use disorders.
