Building on whitepapers written in collaboration with the National Council and additional expertise, Health Management Associates (HMA) will facilitate a conversation that explores the concept of a workforce-centric model focusing on what might lead workers to say, “I want to work in behavioral health" or "I want to continue working in behavioral health.” Find out about the root causes and emerging promising practices and actionable steps toward system improvements to address workforce shortages.

Learning Objectives:

Assess the framework for collectively addressing workforce challenges across systems.
Discover new and promising strategies for addressing workforce issues at the local, state and national level.
Construct an action plan with between one and three concrete steps to address workforce shortages.
Decide how to be involved and informed about actions beyond the recommended strategies
