Hispanic/Latino Americans are now the second largest racial or ethnic group after non-Hispanic Whites. 22% of Hispanic youth have depressive symptoms, higher than any group except Native American youth. The “Vale la Pena Vivir (My Life is Worth Living)” youth mental wellness animated series is one of four Spanish resources listed on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Learn how to utilize this free resource for Spanish speakers addressing common concerns including bullying, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation. The series is also available in English, Portuguese, Japanese and Mandarin.
