Too often, people who receive behavioral health treatment services return to unsafe environments that are not conducive to recovery, frequently because of inadequate funding. A diversified revenue stream can mitigate the risk of losing any single source of funding, creating options when responding to community needs. Using WestCare, Nevada’s successful model of funding integration to build a supportive community as an example, we will present how public and private dollars can be successfully combined to finance treatment and transitional sober living services.
