Dakota Fisher is a Community Planner who has focused the majority of his career working in the fields of climate change adaptation and resilience planning. At the crux of Dakota's work is a focus on creating systems and processes that enable the public to become more involved in the planning process. He believes that a better informed, empowered public will result in better future outcomes for all and that it is the role of planners to facilitate productive public discourse.
Dakota is an employee of the Federal Emergency MAnagement Agency (FEMA) where he works on programs that enhance the adaptative capacity of communities.
