Jack Robbins is a Partner and the Director of Urban Design at FXCollaborative, a New York-based design firm. An accomplished urban designer and architect, Jack's design-focused approach brings insightful solutions to complex urban challenges. Working with both public and private clients, he helps build vibrant, sustainable, city environments. Jack has led mixed-use development projects spanning large-scale master plans, urban infrastructure, transportation, and multi-family residential developments. He is currently co-leading the master plan for New York's Penn Station.
Jack believes in the transformative power of collaborative design and innovation to create elegant and enduring places. Jack is an active thought leader in the urban design community. He has presented at APA NPC since 2016, and at other national conferences including AIA, ULI, Railvolution, Aerial Futures; international conferences including Future of Urban Living (London), Urban Future (Vienna); and regional conferences and panels including AIANY, the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt, Fit City, NJTransAction, New York City Municipal Arts Society, and others. He has taught at the NYU Shack School of Real Estate. His writing has appeared in Architectural Record, World Architecture, and The New York Times. He has an undergradute degree from Harvard and a Masters of Architecture from Yale.
