Maulsri Jha is a transportation and land use planner, working at Jacobs. Throughout her career, she has been involved in urban and transportation planning projects, primarily focusing on large-scale transit development projects, rail and freight corridor studies, and grant writing for federal and state transportation projects. She is particularly interested in the fields of climate resilience planning and mitigation, incorporating the principles of sustainability and climate consciousness in each of her projects. Prior to working at Jacobs, she has worked as a transportation planner at the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban Studies from Portland State University. She holds a master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning from The University of Stuttgart, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the National Institute of Technology, India. She is also a part-time artist and spends her free time painting and reading classic literature.
