Amy DiCarlantonio, AICP, LEED AP BD+C, ENV SP, is a Vice President and Planning Operations Lead at WSP. With more than 20 years of experience, Ms. DiCarlantonio has a diverse portfolio of project experience spanning environmental planning, master planning and urban design, community resiliency, and federal planning for the Department of Defense. Much of her work has focused on the intersection of science and planning and has an extensive background in sustainable development and design principles. This focus promotes a holistic approach to planning with a specific emphasis on smart growth and community resilience. In addition to recent work on the Resilient NJ program, she has served as a technical advisor for the NYSERDA Cleaner Greener Communities grant program, contributed to the New York Rising Community Reconstruction Program community plans, and supported the development of the Colorado Resiliency Framework. Ms. DiCarlantonio is also an adjunct professor for the University of Kentucky’s Department of Landscape Architecture Urban Studio.
