Joshua earned his B.A. in Biochemistry from Washington & Jefferson College in 2016 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Duquesne University in 2020. For his dissertation, he focused on the characterization of RNA structures involved in disease pathogenesis under the advisement of Dr. Mihaela Rita Mihailescu. He is currently an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. His current research focuses on the development of analytical methods for characterizing mRNA vaccines under the advisement of Dr. Robert Brinson and Dr. John Marino.
