Heather received her PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University and completed her post-doctoral training at Pfizer Global Research and Development in Drug Safety Evaluation, later holding positions of increasing responsibility at Amgen, Merck and BMS as a leader in lab sciences and operations serving Pharmacokinetic, Biomarker, Immunogenicity, and Global Regulatory Harmonization across all therapeutics areas and modalities. Heather currently serves as the Executive Scientific Affairs Director working across all labs within the Analytical Sciences Division, Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Business divisions and the Clinical Research Group (CRG). She has a strong external scientific presence, serving on the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Editorial Board, Scientific Advisory Committee and actively participating in programming and presentation at a wide array of national conferences. Heather is a catalyst for organizational and strategic growth with a strong mix of scientific, operational, and regulatory experience, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit. She has a proven track record in driving business strategies focusing on innovation and differentiated laboratory services and technology and is a key advisor and collaborative relationship builder across CRG and Thermo Fisher Scientific leadership teams.
