Sara M. Keith was born and raised in California. A few years after graduating from Biola University in California, in 2002 she moved to Texas to attend Baylor University for her Master of Arts. After attending Baylor, she attended South Texas College of Law – Houston. Sara is admitted to practice law in Texas and numerous U.S. Courts. After graduating law school, she worked at several large and small law firms practicing bankruptcy and litigation. She joined Shell USA, Inc. in December 2018 where she advises executive leadership and key stakeholders on critical legal issues in insolvency matters and commercial credit negotiations, risk management, and compliance. Sara is an accomplished litigator and bankruptcy lawyer with over a decade of experience. She leverages her commercial mindset and leadership skills to provide effective, innovative, legally compliant solutions to mitigate risk.
Sara is the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section Chair-Elect and Diversity & Inclusion Subcommittee Founder and Member, IWIRC Houston Vice Chair, Houston Bar Association Gender Fairness Committee Co-Chair, Shell WAVE (Women Adding Value Everywhere) National Mentoring Lead, and Texas Bar Foundation and Houston Bar Foundation Fellow.
She resides in the Clear Lake Area of Houston, Texas. She is married, has two daughters, and enjoys reading fiction and traveling.
