This pre-conference will kick-off the conference for CPS technicians and instructors attending Lifesavers. In addition to essential CPS program information, a highlight will be the announcement of the 2023 Technician of the Year, Instructor of the Year and Team of the Year. Participating groups and topics will include: -The National CPS Board (NCPSB), with updates on resources and curriculum. -The National Digital Car Seat Check Form (NDCF), the CPS field has been #checkingourwayto100k and MORE! Come celebrate this achievement and learn what insights the data and table tools provided by the NDCF can show you about the current state of the child passenger safety efforts being done across the country. -Safe Kids Certification, with the latest on certification, recertification, policies, and customer service. -The Manufacturers Alliance for Child Passenger Safety (MACPS), with a discussion of field issues that have been reported to manufacturers, along with manufacturer efforts to provide accurate information, educational resources for parents and advocates, and effective customer service options.
