Lifesavers 2023 will open with remarks from Shelly Baldwin, WTSC Director, and Chief John Batiste, Washington State Patrol Chief. Lifesaver is excited to have WA Secretary of Transportation, Roger Millar as the keynote speaker. He oversees an agency that is the steward of a complex, multimodal transportation system, and responsible for ensuring that people and goods move safely and efficiently. Mission Moment speaker David Jones will share his story as a safety advocate. After losing his son in a road bike accident, David has worked relentlessly to strengthen safety laws for people who bike.
