In an effort to better understand real-world performance of Level 2 ADAS and Levels 3+ ADS, NHTSA issued a Standing General Order (SGO) in 2021 requiring automakers to report incidents involving those systems to the Agency within 1 day of occurrence. Learn about the results from the first batch of data released in June 2022 including information on the SGO and what the data can and cannot tell us.
