New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center
Elizabeth Burns is the Head of Reader Services at the New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center. She holds a JD from Villanova Law School and an MLIS from Rutgers. She has presented at ALA, PLA, and other national, state, and local conferences and meetings. Presenations include programs about library services for people with print disabilities to pop culture in libraries to readers advisory. With co-author Sophie Brookover, she wrote Pop Goes the Library: Using Pop Culture To Connect With Your Whole Community (2008). Her articles have appeared in The Horn Book and School Library Journal.
