Beanstack + The Reading Culture podcast
Jordan Lloyd Bookey is the co-founder of Zoobean, creators of Beanstack, where she also served as the chief client success officer for several years. She is the host of the company's podcast, The Reading Culture, in which she connects with diverse authors about their own journeys as readers and storytellers, as well as their thoughts on motivating young people to read more. Guests on The Reading Culture have included Nic Stone, Kate DiCamillo, Renée Watson, Grace Lin, Karina Yan Glaser, Lamar Giles, and many more kidlit authors. Jordan also served as Google's former head of K-12 education and started her career as a 7th-grade language arts teacher. Her life's work has been to expand access to learning and to build stronger cultures of reading in our schools, libraries, and communities.
Jordan and her co-founder (and husband!) Felix, were featured on ABC's Shark Tank as well as numerous other publications. Her writing about parenting and raising fierce girls has also been featured in The Washington Post.
