Natalie Ruppert earned her Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Kentucky in 2008. Natalie began her second career as a librarian in 2009, serving as a Reference Librarian at the Kenton County Publc Library, Covington Branch for 5 years, then as Circulation Manager at the Erlanger Branch for 3 years, before becoming the Manager of Workforce Development for system. Natalie won the Kentucky State Library Award for Community Service in 2015 for helping people find jobs. In 2019, she won the NKY Workforce Investment Board Community Collaboration Award. Natalie’s work at KCPL was featured in a national article commissioned by the Public Library Association and published by Tech Soup in January and the 2021 March issue of the NKY Chamber of Commerce Business Journal. Natalie earned the Certified Workforce Development profressional accredidation in 2022. She serves on multiple committees related to workforce and education in her community. Natalie is currently serving as the Manager of the Career and Job Services Division for KCPL.
