Mara Rosenberg is a Teacher Librarian at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School in Washington, D.C., where she works with students from nursery school through 8th grade. She serves on the St. Patrick’s EDI Committee, as well as the steering committee for the Book-of-the-Month program. Mara has served as a committee member on the AASL/ALSC/YALSA School/Public Library Collaboration and the Notable Children’s Recordings Committee. Prior to joining the faculty at St. Patrick’s, Mara worked as a classroom teacher, early interventionist and administrator in public schools, and both Jewish and Episcopal day schools. She has presented at ALA Annual, North Carolina School Library and Media Association Conference, North Carolina Association of Independent School Conference, and International Reading Association (now ILA) Annual Conference.
