Tamar J. Sarnoff is the Director of the Public Libraries & State Networking Branch of the Maryland State Library Agency. Previous positions include the Planning and Evaluation Coordinator for Montgomery County (MD) Public Library, and Librarian/Library branch manager for Free Library of Philadelphia. She holds a PhD from University of Arizona in Communication, an MLIS from SUNY Albany, and a B.A. from SUNY Albany.
